FIGHT MND - IT TAKES PEOPLE

 

Community Fundraiser 2021

This year Great Dane Lovers has decided to support FightMND, an organisation set up to support the research of Motor Neurone Disease treatment. 

​

Founded in 2014, FightMND was established with the purpose of finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

What FightMND has done since 2014 is be the voice, and the guiding star for Australians who want to fight ‘The Beast’. The horrible and debilitating disease gradually takes away the patient’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately their ability to breathe…all in an average timeframe of just 27 months.

THE BIG FREEZE Beanies

Great Dane Lovers are selling THE BIG FREEZE BEANIES this year, so place your orders by emailing us 

with your name, contact number and number of beanies you wish to purchase.

​

The beanies are $20 each and can be collected at our May Geelong event or June event at the Fitzroy Gardens.

If you can't make the events let us know and we can make alternative arrangements or advise postage.

June Walk & Fundraising Morning Tea

On June 20th we will be meeting in the Fitzroy Gardens at 9.30am for our monthly walk - this will be followed by a Morning Tea at $5 per person or $10 per family will all proceeds going to Fight MND. See our events calendar for further information!
